Our ViYarte Restaurant is open all rainy season 8am - 9pm! If you’re ready for a new place to eat in the Marsella/ Maderas area, come and join us inside or on our ocean view balcony.

We also have amazing vanilla coffee (from @halfordsahara ‘s family farm) and amazing hot or iced cacao. We have solar power and hi speed wifi to amplify our great work zones.

To celebrate the end of our busy high season - we took our ViYarte Staff on a day trip to Laguna de Apoyo!

Building community for others starts with the community of those that cook, clean, maintain and manage the space. We are so grateful for our ViYarte familia for putting so much love and energy into hosting guests, retreats and everything in between.

It’s also important for us to help share the magic of Nicaragua with the locals that live here. Half of the staff had never been to Laguna before. A big thank you to @casamarimba for hosting us.

Para celebrar el final de nuestra ocupada temporada alta, llevamos a nuestro personal de ViYarte a una excursión de un día a la Laguna de Apoyo.

ViYarte is excited to announce we will be hosting a very special production masterclass and mini performance with @seanrodmanmusic from @moontricks_music Tuesday March 17, 1-4pm!

Moontricks will be playing @sanctuary_music_festival (March 21-22) with their signature electro-folk fusion that has won over fans across all genres and ages. Their mix of grounded songwriting and electronic soundscapes is not to be missed!

For Sean’s masterclass, he will be exploring the creative process behind Moontricks’ blend of organic instruments, vocals, and bass-driven electronic production. Sean will share how tracks evolve from early ideas into finished songs, along with some of the creative habits and production techniques that shape the Moontricks sound.

The session will include demonstrations, project walkthroughs, and practical techniques. The class will wrap up with a collaborative creation session, where the group contributes ideas to build a piece of music together.

Workshop activities include:
•⁠ ⁠Inside a Moontricks Studio Session
•⁠ ⁠Building Songs with Organic & Electronic Elements

It’s off the beaten path but still close to SJDS & Maderas, which made it feel perfectly tucked away without being isolated. We’re not the party-ing type, so staying on Playa Marsella was exactlyyy what we were looking for (quiet/peaceful!) The staff + owner are kind, welcoming, & very helpful. Everything was super clean & beautifully maintained. The lounging areas/balconies are thoughtfully designed, comfy, & surrounded by amazing views!! We had our first yoga class on our Ocean Deck above our Poolside Cabana! In the final days of the @purelivingyogayxe Yoga Teacher Training we had a wonderful morning with the sounds of the monkeys and birds paired with ocean vistas.

Ozomatli means monkey in the Nahuatl language and is the energy for creation of Art.

We have hosted many events but this was our first wedding! It was a truly wonderful weekend, from the beach ceremony and balcony reception to the 45 person dinner and dance party. We wish the newlyweds a beautiful chapter ahead and to visit again soon!
